about St. Gemma's
Homeschool Group

You've heard it takes a village...
We’ve heard a Catholic village is even better. At St. Gemma’s, the foundation of our schedule revolves around three main pillars: faith, friendship, and community. This keeps our village cohesive, Christ-centered, and full of joy as we navigate the narrow path of homeschooling together!

Our Story
Jesus we trust in you!
Four years ago, St. Gemma’s Homeschool Group was born from a deep desire for connection and friendship within the Catholic homeschool community. While the Boise area offers a variety of co-op and homeschool group options, none were rooted in the Catholic faith—and to this day, St. Gemma's remains the only Catholic homeschool group in the Treasure Valley.

At the heart of our homeschool group stand three pillars: faith, friendship, and community.
We begin each day in prayer, weave the liturgical calendar into our day to day, and set aside dedicated time for religion each and every meeting so our children can grow in love for the Catholic faith.
Friendship is a thread that runs through all we do, creating a joyful and welcoming environment for both students and parents.
And as we walk this homeschooling journey together, we strive to build a Christ-centered community—serving others while forming a beautiful Catholic village of our own.

Year after year, we remain committed to creating a life-giving co-op experience, and we would love for you to join us on this beautiful adventure.
